SIDE-SPECIFIC ART
Digital Amnesia or Constructed Memory" by Ilia Azoulay has found its permanent home at Munich's historic Maximilian-Gymnasium. The installation showcases a panoramic photomontage and an immersive sound experience facilitated by Augmented Reality technology on-site.
In this project, artist Ilit Azoulay creatively reimagines the grand halls of Maximilian Gymnasium, aiming to preserve its diverse histories, whether spoken or unspoken. Through a fusion of photography, sculpture, and sound, Azoulay visually exposes the essence of the unembellished structure within a panoramic masterpiece encased in a stone frame.
